In 17th August 2022, His Excellency Jabr Bin Mohammed Ghanem Al Suwaidi was appointed Minister of State in the United Arab Emirates government.

Along his career path, His Excellency Al Suwaidi held several prominent positions. He started in the military corps from August 1981 to August 2005, during which he held several military ranks till he became military Colonel. 

Afterwards, he was appointed Director General of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court from 16th August, 2005 to 16th August, 2022, where His Excellency was the focal point connecting the federal government departments and the Abu Dhabi local departments with the Crown Prince Court. 

In addition to his job duties, His Excellency oversees several committees and councils, including:

• Chairman of the Follow-up Committee of the President's Initiatives Committee
• Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Debt Settlement Fund
• Chairman of Al Fursan Holding Group Board of Directors
• Vice Chairman of the Family Development Foundation Board of Trustees
• Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA)
• Chairman of the Abu Dhabi National Elections Committee (NEC)
• Chairman of the Social Care and Minors Affairs Foundation Board of Directors
• Chairman of the Follow-up Committee of Fujairah's Mohamed bin Zayed Residential City
• Vice Chairman of the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme Board of Directors

His Excellency was awarded several medals, including:

• The Distinguished Service Medal (twice)
• The Union Anniversary Medal
• The Long Service and Good Conduct Medal
• The Kuwait Liberation Medal
• The Arab Veterans Union Medal of Honor
