His Excellency Abdullah Al Nuaimi has held the position of the Minister of Justice in the Government of the United Arab Emirates since 2021. His responsibilities encompass the organization of judicial affairs and the assurance of all requisite resources for judiciary members to fulfill their mission optimally. Additionally, he supervises the federal-level organization of the legal profession and administers matters concerning assistant judges.
Apart from his ministerial portfolio, His Excellency assumes several prominent leadership roles. He presides as the Chairman of the Federal Supreme Judicial Council, the Judicial Coordination Council, and the National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking (NCCHT). Furthermore, he holds membership in the National Committee for Combating Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism and Illegal Organizations (NAMLCFTC).
Before assuming his current tenure, His Excellency occupied pivotal positions. He served as the Assistant Undersecretary of the Department of Economic Affairs at the Supreme Council for National Security.
He further undertook responsibilities as an economist at the Strategic Decision Support Center at the Supreme Council of National Security. In addition, he held the esteemed position of Director of the Gas and Sulfur Department at the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and Coordinator of crude oil and condensate sales at same company throughout preceding years.
His Excellency was an esteemed member of several committees and boards of directors, including the Higher Committee for Foreign Aid, the National COVID-19 Crisis Recovery Management and Governance Committee, Abu Dhabi Emergency Crisis and Disasters Committee for the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Audit Committee of the Supreme Council for National Security, and the Central Procurement Committee of the Supreme Council for National Security. Moreover, he assumed directorial roles on the Board of Directors for the International Golden Group as well as the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre.
