Biological diversity basis of life: Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi

The UAE marked yesterday the International Day for Biological Diversity, which falls on May 22. This year’s celebration was held under the slogan, ‘Generalizing Biological Diversity: Human Sustainability and Livelihood’. Delivering a keynote on the occasion, His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, said that biological diversity is the basis of life and helps people achieve goals of sustainable development in all domains, including agriculture and tourism.
