Zayed Housing Programme approves names of 690 eligible citizens

The Zayed Housing Programme (ZHP) has endorsed the names of 690 citizens eligible for housing worth over Dhs430.5 million. The move comes in line with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and follow up Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs. Dr Abdullah Bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure and Chairman of the ZHP, said the announcement of new names of housing beneficiaries falls within the UAE government's framework to upgrade the living standard of citizens in line with the national agenda 2021. While chairing the fourth board meeting in 2016, held in Dubai, the minister noted that the programme reduces the time for which candidates have to wait for appropriate houses meant for Emirati families. He added that plans are afoot to build residential complexes to provide accommodation to the UAE national families.
