Abdullah Bin Zayed Stresses Coordination on Scholarship Issues

The Education and Human Resources Council held its eighth meeting on Saturday to discuss a number of issues related to education, foreign-exchange students at overseas institutions, job opportunities for graduates, and education plans.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Chairman of the Education and Human Resources Council, chaired the meeting and stressed the need to create departments to handle foreign exchange and co-ordinate their efforts.

Engineering and business administration students account for 48 per cent of the total number of foreign-exchange students, Minister of State for Higher Education, Dr. Ahmad bin Abdulla Humaid Belhoul Al Falasi, noted, citing a recent study.
