A group of university students and young entrepreneurs from Russia hosted a youth panel discussion in Saint Petersburg, Russia, sponsored the Emirates Youth Council’s “Youth Circles” initiative. The initiative – launched by the Council and adopted by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai – seeks to build communication lines with the youth segment in society. This is the first panel discussion to be held outside the UAE and was attended by representatives from Mubadala, as well as members of the Emirates Youth Council and university students. This exchange of expertise and promotion of dialogue with and among the youth is of the utmost importance, stressed Her Excellency Shamma bint Suhail Al Mazroui, Minister of State for Youth Affairs.
