Arab Strategy Forum to Forecast Future of the Region and the World

13.12.2016

Under the direction and patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,

Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Arab Strategy Forum is set to kick off tomorrow (Wednesday, December 13, 2016) in Dubai.

The Forum gathers a number of prominent Arab and international decision-makers, academics, economists, and political analysts to exchange views on the political and economic situation of the Arab region and the rest of the world in 2017. They will also discuss key strategic issues and analyse the challenges and opportunities that will face the world – economically and politically – in 2017.

The highlight of the Arab Strategy Forum this year is a session featuring former UK Prime Minister David Cameron, and former CIA Chief Leon Panetta, who will critique the main global political forecasts for 2017 in a session moderated by CNN’s Becky Anderson.

Other high-profile moderators have also signed on to take part in the forum, including Bloomberg Television anchor Manus Cranny and Al Arabiya TV’s Naser El Tibi.
