Crimean Trees Cover 13,600 Hectares of Land in UAE
Crimean trees cover 13,616 hectares of land in Abu Dhabi, ministry official has revealed. Mona Omran Majid al-Shamsi, acting director of Department for Biological Diversification – UAE Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, has said that the figure emerged following a study conducted by her ministry, in partnership with authorities concerned with biological diversification.
According to the study, Abu Dhabi ranks first in terms of being home to Crimean trees, followed by Umm Al-Quwain, and Ras Al-Khaimah.
