Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the Crown Prince’s Court has launched an educational initiative titled “Moral Education”, to be included as a subject in school curricula and courses. The initiative was undertaken in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, the Abu Dhabi Education Council, and other relevant institutions. The subject comprises of five key elements: ethics, personal and community development, culture and heritage, civic education, and rights and responsibilities.

Speaking on the occasion of the launch, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said that the creation of a nation remains contingent on how well that nation preserves its values and morals, regardless of the level of achievement and sophistication it has attained.
