Dubai Government Accelerator goals achieved in record time

The results that have been achieved in the first batch of the Dubai Government Accelerators (DGA) have exceeded set goals in record time, and this reflects the capability of Emiratis in facing challenges, said His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Improving air quality by 10 per cent, equal to reducing the carbon emissions of 280,000 vehicles in 100 days. DGA team succeeded in reducing carbon emissions by 16 per cent in 99 days, exceeding the set goal by 160 per cent, the equivalent of removing 480,000 vehicles from roads. Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation provided 1,000 job opportunities for Emirati jobseekers within 75 days. Ministry was able to provide 1,080 Emiratis with jobs in the financial sector.

In 100 days, the Ministry of Health and Prevention had to provide breast cancer screening for 2,000 women who are older than 40 in Fujairah. Ministry provided screening for more than 2,000 women in 83 days. The Ministry of Community Development’s team will work to increase the number of customers visiting the Social Development Centre in Ajman to ten times within a hundred days.

Telecommunication Regulatory Authority will enable customers to get smart government services of seven government bodies without identification documents in a hundred days. FEWA will work to improve electric services by reducing time spent for electric connectivity for new houses of Emirati citizens in Ajman from 47 days to 14 days.
