Emirates Youth Council Partners Up With Mohammed Bin Rashid Global Centre for Awqaf and Endowment.
Al Oula Radio is set to provide the world’s first endowment (waqf) radio ads in the world to support youth projects in the UAE, revealed Emirates Youth Council and Mohammed Bin Rashid Global Centre for Awqaf and Endowment.
Al Oula Radio – part of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center – is set to receive an endowment of nearly AED1.5 million per year. The step falls in line with the Dubai Global Vision for Awqaf and Endowment, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, which seeks to revive the use of awqaf as a development tool for of communities.
