Federal Authority for Land and Maritime Transport unveils new strategy for marine shipping
The Federal Authority for Land and Maritime Transport said it is preparing a new national strategy for maritime transport in the UAE. An official from the Authority said that the new strategy focuses on finance, insurance, industry, and inspection, among other key points. She added that the maritime sector in the country is witnessing remarkable progress, adding that the UAE is the only country in the Middle East to have an authority dedicated to the classification of ships.
