GACA: Drones System to Be Implemented by End of 2017
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has confirmed that it will start before the end of this year to implement a complete system to regulate the UAV sector. The Authority explained in a press conference that the system includes implementing the specifications that the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology has completed.
The system will also allow the customs to prohibit the entrance of the aircraft that violates these specifications and oblige the sales outlets not to sell any unmanned aircraft to any person not registered in the authority’s system.
