H.E. Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi addresses the “Towards an Integrated World” conference
Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Minister of State for Tolerance, addressed the “Towards an Integrated World” conference, organised by the UAE’s Muslim Council of Elders with Christian leaders from the Anglican Communion.
In her speech, H.E. said that the UAE is committed to mutual respect, tolerance, and dialogue, underlining the importance of accepting the other regardless of religious, cultural, and sectarian differences.
Sheikha Lubna also announced a series of initiatives aimed at recognising the role of the family in building a healthy community. The initiatives will involve the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Community Development, the Ministry of Education, and the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments.
