In Conjunction with UAE National Day His Highness Sheikh Mohammed to Award Forty-Six UAE Pioneers in Giving and Humanitarian Work
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, has directed the honouring of 46 Emiratis who initiated and excelled in giving and humanitarian work during the UAE Pioneers event, held in conjunction with the Year of Giving and the UAE 46th National Day.
“In order to commemorate our 46th National Day and the Year of Giving, we will award 46 Emiratis who pioneered in giving and humanitarian work,” said His Highness Sheikh Mohammed.
The directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed to honour the UAE pioneers in giving and humanitarian work comes within the framework of the Year of Giving 2017 announced by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and line with the approach adopted by the UAE since its establishment to give and provide for those in need.
UAE Pioneers will be awarded by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed with a medal during a special ceremony, in addition to having their names commemorated in the memory of the UAE through the release of the UAE Pioneers 2017 book.
All members of the community can nominate themselves or other Emirati citizens who has initiated a remarkable act of giving to serve the community of the UAE through the official website www.uaepioneers.com until the 24th of November. A specialized committee will review the credentials and contact the nominees accordingly.
