Mansour bin Zayed chairs Ministerial Development Council's meeting to review performance of federal entities
Presided over by H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, the UAE’s Ministerial Development Council discussed during this Sunday morning’s session, the results of the annual report on the performance of the Federal Entities on Human Resources for the year 2015.
The Council reviewed the report presented by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources on the results of the Ministries and Federal Entities for the year 2015, in line with the Human Resources’ Strategic Plan of the Federal Government 2014-2016, and the balanced score cards system of the Federal Government.
The report included the performance of the Ministries and Federal Entities until December 2015 according to an evaluation methodology based on many pillars, such as operations, customers, finance, and learning and development. The report also showed the results of Emiratisation, and adherence to the regulations and legislation, in addition to the results of training and jobs’ evaluation, employee productivity, workforce planning, as well as the results of the compensation and incentives system, and employee satisfaction and turnover, part of the customer pillar.
The report was developed based on the data extracted from "Bayanati" system of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, and the reports issued by the FAHR on the implementation of the regulations of the Human Resources.
The Council also discussed the guidebook of Private/Public partnership’s contracts. This guidebook was developed in line with international best practices on partnerships in order to encourage the private sector to contribute to the development projects, and to attract more investments in various fields to enhance economic and social development in the country, in addition to enabling the government to implement its strategic projects in a more efficient and effective manner, utilizing the financial, organizational, and technological capabilities of the private sector for providing best and most cost effective services for all members of the society in the UAE.
The Council also reviewed, during this session, the end-of-year financial report generated by the State Audit Institution for the Telecommunication Regulatory Authority, and the final accounting report for the year 2015 for Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, Emirates Post Group, and Wall Street Exchange centre.
