The Ministry of Education has revealed the newly developed education plan for all school levels –  from kindergarten to the 12th grade – in addition to new education programmes, including “Al Nokhba” (Advanced Science programme). “Al Nokhba” will be implemented for the first time this year in 13 schools and will target 1,600 outstanding students.

The plan was endorsed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

An official from the Abu Dhabi Education Council said that the “Moral Education” subject is set to be launched at all government and private schools in Abu Dhabi starting from December 2017. “There’s no doubt that educating young people and building new generations are very important undertakings,” the official said, “as we need different methods that fit the everyday changes in the world of education.”

In less than a year, the Ministry of Education has overhauled and developed the curriculum for all school levels, an endeavour launched by HH Sheikh Mohammed. This constitutes a huge national accomplishment as all developed curricula focus on the future, innovation, technology, and everyday skills.
