Mohammed bin Rashid center asks public to vote for best innovative ideas
The UAE federal government has launched the final phase of evaluating innovative ideas submitted by federal government employees for Afkari, a government initiative launched last year to support innovation in the sector, the Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation (MBRCGI) said.
Some 750 innovative ideas were submitted; this impressive number made it necessary to implement even higher evaluation standards, Assistant Director-General for Strategy and Innovation at the Prime Minister's Office Huda Al Hashimi noted, adding that only ten ideas have made it to the finals following rigorous evaluation. Winning ideas will be backed and implemented at the relevant government institutions within three months. While employees from the ministries of health and education showcased their ideas, Amina Al Badwawi, an employee at TRA, unveiled an innovative idea to create a “happiness bank”.
