Mohammed Bin Rashid provides ways to resume Arab civilization
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, vice president and ruler of Dubai, will lead a questions and answers session on the revival of development in the Arab World next week.
The session will take place during the World Government Summit, which runs from February 12 to 17. At the event, Sheikh Mohammed will share his leadership experience
and present his views on the Arab region, its current state, future and potential for development. He will take questions, feedback and input from people across the Arab World through social media. The discussion will focus on the Arab region at a time when it is facing substantial challenges on all fronts. One of his tweets posed the question as to whether there is hope for development in the Arab World and if it is possible to shape a new future. The world Government Summit has announced that the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will be its partner in the year's fifth edition. RTA's Chairman Matar Al Tayer said that the partnership comes in line with efforts stepped up by the Authority to improve its services by encouraging innovative thinking.
The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) will also be a leading partner in this year's fifth edition of the Summit.
Meanwhile, Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, managing director and chief executive of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA),
has said that HH Sheikh Mohammed always launches leading initiatives aimed at serving the Arab world as a whole. Mohammed Yousuf Baniyas,
executive director of the higher education sector at the Abu Dhabi Education Council, stated that Arabs can get back on the track of development without the help of others.
Maitha Al Habsi, deputy CEO at Emirates Foundation, stated that the Emirati development experience focuses on a set of foundations.
Head of Cisco will also participate in the summit to showcase the global digitization trends.
