Omar Sultan Al-Ulama appointed Managing Director of the World Government Summit

Mohammed Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the World Government Summit, has appointed Omar Sultan Al-Ulama as Director of the World Government Summit Organisation.

In a bid to strengthen its position as a global platform for shaping the future, the organisation is in the process of employing national resources and competencies to expand the range of its activities and events.

Al Gergawi explains that this appointment falls in line with the directives of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to empower qualified young Emiratis to take over leadership positions, and be actively involved in the overall development process, in order to achieve Vision 2021.

Omar Sultan Al-Ulama holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a diploma in project management and excellence, in addition to a number of professional certificates.
