Portal shows nation's future until 2117
The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, (TRA), has said that the official UAE Government Portal presents a pillar that highlights the UAE’s future milestones until the year 2117, within the context of the national vision and the directives of the wise leadership, working towards creating a future full of happiness, achievement, sustainability and leadership.
Hamad Obaid Al-Mansoori, Director-General of TRA, said, “The official portal of the UAE Government represents the electronic presence of the country. It is a comprehensive informative framework, open for the participation of the public in order to develop the content of the portal.”
The portal includes the UAE’s “Future” page detailing a specific timeline for the UAE’s journey during the next few decades towards reaching the “Mars 2117” mission objectives, which include building the first inhabitable human settlement on Mars, and a national programme to prepare scientific cadres to explore the red planet.
