H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, met on Wednesday with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Singapore Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan and his accompanying delegation. They reviewed cooperation between the two friendly countries in issues of mutual interests. On the other hand, the Second UAE-Singapore Joint Ministerial Committee Meeting kicked off here on Wednesday. It was co-chaired by Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future, and Dr.

Vivian Balakrishnan, Singapore Minister of Foreign Affairs. At the end of the meeting, both parties signed several Memorandums of Understanding (MoU), between the Abu Dhabi International Market and the Monetary Authority of Singapore to extend co-operation in the field of FINTECH, and between the Supreme Court of Singapore and the Abu Dhabi Global Market Courts for co-operation in the field of justice. An MoU between the Abu Dhabi Global Market Courts and the Supreme Court of Singapore on mutual recognition and the application of judicial decisions was also signed.
