A two-day youth retreat to discuss ideas and proposals aimed at supporting and enabling the young people to realise their hopes and aspirations will commence today and continue till Tuesday.  The event, announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, also aims at activating the role of youth in the country’s sustainable development.  The young people participating in the retreat will stop at seven major stations, namely the launch of the hope, a workshop of the Emirates Youth Council, sessions of the national dialogue on youth, exhibition on the march of the UAE youth, mind feeding and development of skills and creative abilities, strategic laboratory, and the innovation platform. An elite group of Emirati young people will participate in the two-day retreat which will feature many of brainstorming sessions on the topics proposed by the youth on the “The National Dialogue on the Youth”.  The session will focus on several subjects, including the first national strategy for youth.

Furthermore, the retreat will address many important topics and issues related to the promotion and development of youth abilities and energies to be able to contribute to the development process of all life aspects.
