UAE Launches Second Annual Innovation Week
The UAE kicked off its second annual Innovation Week on Sunday (November 20, 2016), with some of the country’s best and brightest showcasing cutting-edge technologies and innovative methods to address modern-day challenges. The week-long event will run until November 26.
This year, the agenda includes hundreds of events, ranging from showcases of innovative products, services and apps, to the launch of new national initiatives, “hackathons”, competitions, labs, workshops, and panel discussions.
On another note, Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Secretary-General of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, has inaugurated Abu Dhabi Initiatives’ pavilion at Masdar City.
