UAE maintains good ties with all states: VP

Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, received the credentials of new ambassadors to the UAE at Al Mushrif Palace in Abu Dhabi on Sunday. Sheikh Mohammed welcomed Ambassador Goetz Lingenthal of the Federal Republic of Germany, Ambassador Andreas Liebmann of the Republic of Austria, Ambassador Robert Rostek of the Republic of Poland, Ambassador Masud Husain of Canada, Ambassador Moazzam Ahmad Khan of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Ambassador Raad Mouhammed Rashad Al Alousi of the Republic of Iraq, Ambassador Can Dizdar of the Republic of Turkey, and Ambassador Joaquim Moreira de Lemos of the Republic of Portugal. He stressed that the government and people of the UAE maintain good relations with all states and are keen on building on these relations to serve their common interests, promote peace, tolerance and equality, and focus on achieving development and happiness for all humanity. “You are now in your second home, where you and your families live in a Muslim and Arab society that has diverse cultures and believes in the values of tolerance, justice and equality among all social segments, without any discrimination. All people in our state maintain excellent and noble social, cultural and human relations,” he told the new envoys. While having a conversation with the ambassadors about bolstering friendly relations between the UAE and their respective countries, Sheikh Mohammed stressed that the leaders and government of the UAE are ready to welcome any of the ambassadors at any time they need to exchange views and seek advice about whatever may contribute to expanding cooperation in all spheres between the UAE and their respective countries. The ambassadors conveyed greetings from the leaders of their countries to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and wished for continued good health and well-being for him and for further achievements for the people of the UAE. Those present at the meeting include Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs; Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation.
