UAE Minister of Infrastructure Development: Data of Half a Million Trucks Has Been Recorded
His Excellency Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development and Chairman of the Federal Transport Authority – Land and Maritime, said that the inspections currently underway comply with law No. 9 of 2011, which requires the data of every pick-up truck to be recorded. Every truck that fails to register in the new system will be fined, H.E. warned at the press conference held yesterday (Tuesday, November 22, 2016) at the Ministry’s headquarters in Dubai.
Furthermore, H.E. Al Nuaimi lauded the directives of the UAE’s wise leadership, which called for enhancing communication between the community and federal institutions in the UAE.
