The UAE Ministerial Development Council, presided over by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, discussed today a National Plan for Climate Change.

The Council discussed the proposal presented by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment to roll out a National Plan for Climate Change for the years 2017-2050, which aims to consolidate all efforts at the national level, and to outline future strategies and policies contributing to the achievement of UAE Vision 2021 pertaining to enhanced sustainable environment and strong global leadership in climate change issues, in line with the Paris Climate Accord.
