World Government Summit opens with presence of Mohammed bin Rashid, 3,000 officials from 125 countries

The fourth edition of the World Government Summit, (#WorldGovSummit), today opened in the presence of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, sheikhs, world leaders and representatives of international organisations, and the participation of more than 125 countries, 3,000 officials, and 125 speakers.

The summit, which will be held at the Madinat Jumeirah between 8th and 10th February, will host more than 70 sessions with the participation of dignitaries, leaders, and experts from both the government and private sectors from around the world, decision-makers, ministers, executives, innovation leaders, and entrepreneurs, as well as representatives of academic institutions and university students. It will also see the launching of various initiatives, reports and studies.

The summit is considered one of the most significant international events that look to future prospects, new forms of co-operation between governments and the private sector, and the development of innovative solutions with a futuristic vision for many of the common challenges facing world governments today.
